New Assistant Directors Appointed in Children’s Services

CHILDREN’S Services at Tameside Council have recruited two new Assistant Directors to help to lead the service to further improvement

 

Paula Sumner and Tony DeCrop will join Children’s Services in their new roles in June this year to support ongoing improvement efforts. Tony, having undertaken an interim role at the Council for 6 months has now been permanently appointed while Paula joins as an experienced Assistant Director from Leicestershire County Council.

 

Ali Stathers-Tracey, Director of Children's Services at Tameside Council said: “We had a really high quality field for both roles and I am delighted that Tony and Paula come with a strong reputation for building high quality, sustainable services. This is an exciting time for Tameside Children’s Services to cement a refreshed reputation for being innovative, creative and consistently high quality to deliver the very best outcomes for our children.”
